Summary:

Hero Home Care is seeking a talented and outgoing individual to join our People & Culture team to support Hero Home Care in all recruitment and onboarding initiatives. The HR Generalist / Recruiter will seek out and attract top talent in the industry and help create a culture of caring, growth, and learning amongst all new hires. This individual understands that finding the right fit is of the utmost importance to ensuring our clients are receiving the best possible care!

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a HR Generalist / Recruiter with Hero Home Care you will be responsible for providing candidates with a world class recruiting and onboarding experience, as well as ensuring all new hires are set up for success. You will work collaboratively with our People & Culture team to ensure that Hero Home Care is recognized as a top employer and that we are hiring and retaining the best people in the industry. Your main roles and responsibilities are further outlined below.

  • Track, analyze, and update job postings
  • Review and process all job candidates and selecting top talent to be interviewed
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews 
  • Process and support candidates throughout the hiring process including; conducting references checks, sending out and collecting paperwork, and onboarding support
  • Track and update candidate records with accurate and relevant information
  • Setup new hires in the system and provide new hire updates to the team
  • Employee relations and retention support
  • General HR support

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years in high volume or agency recruitment

Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive and approachable personality

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented

Strong customer service skills

Casual workforce industry experience an asset

Healthcare industry experience an asset

SALARY:

$40,000 – $45,000
